مَنْ يَخْدُمْنِي فَلْيَتْبَعْنِي. وحَيْثُ أَكُونُ أَنَا، فَهُنَاكَ يَكُونُ أَيْضًا خَادِمِي/Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also

إنجيل القدّيس يوحنّا12/من26حتى30/:”قالَ الَرَبُّ يَسُوع : «مَنْ يَخْدُمْنِي فَلْيَتْبَعْنِي. وحَيْثُ أَكُونُ أَنَا، فَهُنَاكَ يَكُونُ أَيْضًا خَادِمِي. مَنْ يَخْدُمْنِي يُكَرِّمْهُ الآب. نَفْسِي الآنَ مُضْطَرِبَة، فَمَاذَا أَقُول؟ يَا أَبَتِ، نَجِّنِي مِنْ هذِهِ السَّاعَة؟ ولكِنْ مِنْ أَجْلِ هذَا بَلَغْتُ إِلى هذِهِ السَّاعَة! يَا أَبَتِ، مَجِّدِ ٱسْمَكَ». فَجَاءَ صَوْتٌ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ يَقُول: «قَدْ مَجَّدْتُ، وسَأُمَجِّد».وسَمِعَ الجَمْعُ الحَاضِرُ فَقَالُوا: «إِنَّهُ رَعد». وقَالَ آخَرُون: «إِنَّ مَلاكًا خَاطَبَهُ». أَجَابَ يَسُوعُ وقَال: «مَا كَانَ هذَا الصَّوْتُ مِنْ أَجْلِي، بَلْ مِنْ أَجْلِكُم”.

مِن جَرَّاءِ تَصَلُّبِ قُلُوبِهِم! هُمُ الَّذِينَ فقَدُوا كُلَّ حِسٍّ، فأَسْلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُم إِلى العِهْرِ فَٱرْتَكَبُوا بِجَشَعٍ كُلَّ نَجَاسَة
رسالة القدّيس بولس إلى أهل أفسس04/من17حتى24/:”يا إِخْوَتي، أَسْتَحْلِفُكُم بِالرَّبّ، أَلاَّ تَسْلُكُوا في مَا بَعْدُ كَمَا يَسْلُكُ الوَثَنِيُّونَ بِبَاطِلِ رَأْيِهِم، قَابِعِينَ في ظَلامِ تَفْكِيرِهِم، مُتَغَرِّبِينَ عَنْ حيَاةِ الله، بِسَبَبِ الجَهْلِ الكَامِنِ فِيهِم مِن جَرَّاءِ تَصَلُّبِ قُلُوبِهِم! هُمُ الَّذِينَ فقَدُوا كُلَّ حِسٍّ، فأَسْلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُم إِلى العِهْرِ فَٱرْتَكَبُوا بِجَشَعٍ كُلَّ نَجَاسَة. أَمَّا أَنْتُم فَمَا هكَذَا تَعَلَّمْتُمُ المَسِيح، إِنْ كُنْتُم قَدْ سَمِعْتُمُوه، وتَلَقَّيْتُم في شأْنِهِ تَعْلِيمًا مُطَابِقًا لِلحَقِيقَةِ الَّتي هِيَ في يَسُوع، فَنَبَذْتُمُ الإِنْسَانَ العَتِيقَ الَّذي أَفْسَدَتْهُ الشَّهَوَاتُ الخَدَّاعَة، في سِيرَتِكُمُ الأُولَى، وتَجَدَّدْتُم في أَذْهَانِكُم تَجَدُّدًا رُوحِيًّا، وَلَبِسْتُمُ الإِنْسَانَ الجَدِيدَ الَّذي خُلِقَ على مِثَالِ الله، في البِرِّ وقَدَاسَةِ الحَقّ”.

Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also.
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 12/26-30:”Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honour. ‘Now my soul is troubled. And what should I say “Father, save me from this hour”? No, it is for this reason that I have come to this hour. Father, glorify your name.’ Then a voice came from heaven, ‘I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.’The crowd standing there heard it and said that it was thunder. Others said, ‘An angel has spoken to him.’Jesus answered, ‘This voice has come for your sake, not for mine.”

They have lost all sensitivity and have abandoned themselves to licentiousness, greedy to practise every kind of impurity.
Letter to the Ephesians 04/17-24:”Now this I affirm and insist on in the Lord: you must no longer live as the Gentiles live, in the futility of their minds. They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of their ignorance and hardness of heart. They have lost all sensitivity and have abandoned themselves to licentiousness, greedy to practise every kind of impurity. That is not the way you learned Christ! For surely you have heard about him and were taught in him, as truth is in Jesus. You were taught to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”
