إنجيل القدّيس متّى10/من21حتى26/:”قالَ الربُّ يَسوعُ لِتلاميذِهِ: «سَيُسْلِمُ الأَخُ أَخَاهُ إِلى المَوْت، والأَبُ ٱبْنَهُ، ويَتَمَرَّدُ الأَوْلادُ عَلى وَالِدِيْهِم ويَقْتُلُونَهُم. ويُبْغِضُكُم جَمِيْعُ النَّاسِ مِنْ أَجْلِ ٱسْمِي، ومَنْ يَصبِرْ إِلى المُنْتَهَى يَخْلُصْ. وإِذَا ٱضْطَهَدُوكُم في هذِهِ المَدِينَة، أُهْرُبُوا إِلى غَيْرِهَا. فَٱلحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُم: لَنْ تَبْلُغُوا آخِرَ مُدُنِ إِسْرَائِيلَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ ٱبْنُ الإِنْسَان. لَيْسَ تِلْميذٌ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ مُعَلِّمِهِ، ولا عَبْدٌ مِنْ سَيِّدِهِ. حَسْبُ التِّلْمِيذِ أَنْ يَصِيْرَ مِثْلَ مُعَلِّمِهِ، والعَبْدِ مِثْلَ سَيِّدِهِ. فَإِنْ كَانَ سَيِّدُ البَيْتِ قَدْ سَمَّوْهُ بَعْلَ زَبُول، فَكَمْ بِالأَحْرَى أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ؟ فَلا تَخَافُوهُم! لأَنَّهُ مَا مِنْ مَحْجُوبٍ إِلاَّ سَيُكْشَف، ومَا مِنْ خَفِيٍّ إِلاَّ سَيُعْرَف.

سفر أعمال الرسل10/من01حتى10//19حتى23/:”يا إخوتي، كَانَ في قَيصَرِيَّةَ رَجُلٌ ٱسْمُهُ كُرْنِيلِيوُس، قائِدُ مئَةٍ منَ ٱلفِرْقَةِ ٱلَّتي تُدْعَى ٱلإِيطالِيَّة. كانَ تَقِيًّا يَخَافُ ٱللهَ هوَ وجَمِيعُ أَهْلِ بَيتِهِ، ويَتَصَدَّقُ على ٱلشَّعْبِ بِصَدَقاتٍ كَثِيرَة، ويُداوِمُ على ٱلصَّلاةِ لله. وذَاتَ يَوم، نَحْوَ ٱلسَّاعَةِ ٱلثَّالِثَةِ بَعْدَ ٱلظُّهْر، رأَى جَلِيًّا، في رُؤْيَا، مَلاكَ اللهِ يَدْخُلُ عَلَيهِ ويَقُولُ لَهُ: «يَا كُرْنِيلِيُوس!».فتَفَرَّسَ فيهِ كُرْنِيلِيُوس، وقدِ ٱسْتَوْلَى عَلَيهِ ٱلخَوْف، وقَال: «مَا ٱلأَمرُ، يا سَيِّدي؟». قَالَ لَهُ ٱلْمَلاك: «إِنَّ صَلَواتِكَ وصَدَقاتِكَ صَعِدَتْ كَذِكْرٍ أَمَامَ ٱلله. فَأَرْسِلِ ٱلآنَ رِجَالاً إِلى يَافَا، وَٱسْتَحضِرْ سِمْعَانَ ٱلمُلَقَّبَ بِبُطرُس. فَهُوَ نَازِلٌ ضَيْفًا عِندَ دَبَّاغٍ ٱسْمُهُ سِمْعَان، بَيْتُهُ على شَاطِئِ ٱلبَحْر». فلَمَّا ٱنْصَرَفَ ٱلْمَلاكُ ٱلَّذي كانَ يُكَلِّمُهُ، دعَا كُرْنِيلِيُوسُ ٱثْنَيْنِ مِن خَدَمِهِ، وجُندِيًّا تقِيًّا مِمَّن كانُوا يُلازِمُونَهُ، وأَطْلَعَهُم على كُلِّ مَا في ٱلأَمْر، وأَرْسَلَهُم إِلى يَافَا. وفي ٱلغَد، فيمَا هُم يُتابِعُونَ طَريقَهُم، وَيَقْتَرِبُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمَدينة، صَعِدَ بُطرُسُ إِلى ٱلسَّطْحِ وَقْتَ ٱلظُّهْرِ لِيُصَلِّي. وأَحَسَّ بِالْجُوعِ فٱشْتَهى أَنْ يَأْكُل. وفيمَا كَانُوا يُهَيِّئُونَ لَهُ ٱلطَّعَام، حَدَثَ لهُ ٱنْخِطَاف، وفِيمَا كَانَ بُطْرُسُ لا يَزَالُ يُفَكِّرُ في الرُّؤْيَا، قَالَ لَهُ ٱلرُّوح: «هُوَذَا رِجَالٌ يَطْلُبُونَكَ. فَقُمْ وَٱنْزِلْ وٱذْهَبْ مَعَهُم بِدُونِ تَرَدُّد، لأَنِّي أَنَا أَرْسَلْتُهُم». فنَزَلَ بُطرُسُ إِلى ٱلرِّجَالِ وقَالَ لَهُم: «أَنَا هُوَ ٱلَّذي تَطْلُبُونَهُ. فَمَا ٱلسَّبَبُ ٱلَّذي مِنْ أَجْلِهِ أَتَيْتُم؟». فَقَالُوا: «إِنَّ كُرْنِيلِيُوسَ قائِدَ ٱلْمِئَة، وهُوَ رَجُلٌ بَارٌ يَخَافُ ٱلله، وتَشْهَدُ لهُ أُمَّةُ ٱليَهُودِ كُلُّها، قَد أَوحَى إِلَيهِ مَلاكٌ قِدِّيسٌ أَن يَستَحضِرَكَ إِلى بَيتِهِ ويَسْمَعَ مَا عِنْدَكَ مِنْ كَلام». فدَعاهُم بُطْرُسُ إِلى ٱلدُّخُولِ وأَضَافَهُم. وفي ٱلغَد، قَامَ وخَرَجَ مَعَهُم، ورَافَقَهُ بَعْضُ ٱلإِخْوَةِ مِنْ يَافَا.”

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 10/21-26:”Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death; and you will be hated by all because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next; for truly I tell you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes. ‘A disciple is not above the teacher, nor a slave above the master; it is enough for the disciple to be like the teacher, and the slave like the master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household! ‘So have no fear of them; for nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known.”

The Angle in a vision asked Cornelius, a centurion of the Italian Cohort to bring Peter and Listen to him
Acts of the Apostles 10/01-10//19-23a./:”In Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of the Italian Cohort, as it was called.He was a devout man who feared God with all his household; he gave alms generously to the people and prayed constantly to God. One afternoon at about three o’clock he had a vision in which he clearly saw an angel of God coming in and saying to him, ‘Cornelius.’ He stared at him in terror and said, ‘What is it, Lord?’ He answered, ‘Your prayers and your alms have ascended as a memorial before God. Now send men to Joppa for a certain Simon who is called Peter; he is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the seaside.’When the angel who spoke to him had left, he called two of his slaves and a devout soldier from the ranks of those who served him, and after telling them everything, he sent them to Joppa. About noon the next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat; and while it was being prepared, he fell into a trance. While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, ‘Look, three men are searching for you. Now get up, go down, and go with them without hesitation; for I have sent them.’ So Peter went down to the men and said, ‘I am the one you are looking for; what is the reason for your coming?’They answered, ‘Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and to hear what you have to say.’So Peter invited them in and gave them lodging. The next day he got up and went with them, and some of the believers from Joppa accompanied him.”
