واحِدٌ يَزْرَعُ وآخَرُ يَحْصُد/One sows and another reaps

واحِدٌ يَزْرَعُ وآخَرُ يَحْصُد. أَنَا أَرْسَلْتُكُم لِتَحْصُدُوا مَا لَمْ تَتْعَبُوا أَنْتُم فِيه. آخَرُون تَعِبُوا، وأَنْتُم في تَعَبِهِم دَخَلْتُم
إنجيل القدّيس يوحنّا04/من31حتى38/:”فِي أَثْنَاءِ ذلِكَ، كَانَ التَّلامِيذُ يَطْلُبُونَ مِنْهُ قَائِلين: «رابِّي، كُلْ». فَقَالَ لَهُم: «أَنَا لِي طَعَامٌ آكُلُهُ وأَنْتُم لا تَعْرِفُونَهُ». فقَالَ التَّلامِيذُ بَعضُهُم لِبَعض: «هَلْ جَاءَهُ أَحَدٌ بِمَا يَأْكُلُهُ؟». قَالَ لَهُم يَسُوع: «طَعَامِي أَنْ أَعْمَلَ مَشِيئَةِ مَنْ أَرْسَلَنِي، وأَنْ أُتِمَّ عَمَلَهُ. أَمَا تَقُولُونَ أَنْتُم: هِيَ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَيَحِينُ الحِصَاد؟ وهَا أَنَا أَقُولُ لَكُم: إِرْفَعُوا عُيُونَكُم وٱنْظُرُوا الحُقُولَ إِنَّهَا قَدِ ٱبيَضَّتْ لِلحِصَاد. أَلحَاصِدُ يَأْخُذُ أُجْرَة، ويَجْمَعُ ثَمَرًا لِحَيَاةٍ أَبَدِيَّة، لِكَي يَفْرَحَ الزَّارِعُ والحَاصِدُ مَعًا. فيَصْدُقُ القَوْل: وَاحِدٌ يَزْرَعُ وآخَرُ يَحْصُد. أَنَا أَرْسَلْتُكُم لِتَحْصُدُوا مَا لَمْ تَتْعَبُوا أَنْتُم فِيه. آخَرُون تَعِبُوا، وأَنْتُم في تَعَبِهِم دَخَلْتُم».

 

وٱغْتَنَمَتِ الخَطِيئَةُ الفُرْصَةَ مِنَ الوَصِيَّة، فأَثَارَتْ فِيَّ كُلَّ شَهْوَة، لأَنَّ الخَطِيئَةَ بِدُونِ الشَّرِيعَةِ مَيْتَة
رسالة القدّيس بولس إلى أهل رومة07/من07حتى13/:”إِذًا فَمَاذَا نَقُول؟ هَلِ الشَّرِيعَةُ خَطِيئَة؟ حَاشَا! لكِنِّي مَا عَرَفْتُ الخَطِيئَةَ إِلاَّ بِوَاسِطَةِ الشَّرِيعَة. فإِنِّي مَا عَرَفْتُ الشَّهْوَةَ لَو لَمْ تَقُلِ الشَّرِيعَة: «لاتَشْتَهِ!». وٱغْتَنَمَتِ الخَطِيئَةُ الفُرْصَةَ مِنَ الوَصِيَّة، فأَثَارَتْ فِيَّ كُلَّ شَهْوَة، لأَنَّ الخَطِيئَةَ بِدُونِ الشَّرِيعَةِ مَيْتَة. أَمَّا أَنَا فَكُنْتُ حَيًّا مِنْ قَبْلُ بِدُونِ الشَّرِيعَة. ولَمَّا جَاءَتِ الوَصِيَّةُ عَاشَتِ الخَطِيئَة، ومُتُّ أَنَا، والوَصِيَّةُ الَّتي هِيَ لِلحَيَاة، صَارَتْ لي هيَ نَفسُهَا لِلمَوت؛ لأَنَّ الخَطِيئَةَ ٱغْتَنَمَتِ الفُرْصَةَ مِنَ الوَصِيَّةِ فأَغْوَتْنِي، وبالوَصِيَّةِ قَتَلَتْنِي. إِذًا فَٱلشَّرِيعَةُ مُقَدَّسَة، والوَصِيَّةُ مُقَدَّسَةٌ وعَادِلَةٌ وَصَالِحَة. إِذًا فَهَل صَارَ لِيَ الصَّالِحُ مَوْتًا؟ حَاشَا ! إِلاَّ أَنَّ الخَطِيئَة، لِكَيْ تَظْهَرَ خَطيئَة، إسْتَعْمَلَتِ الصَّالِحَ فَعَمِلَتْ فِيَّ مَوْتًا، حتَّى بَلَغَتِ الخَطيئَةُ بِوَاسِطَةِ الوَصِيَّةِ أَقْصَى حُدُودِ الخَطيئَة.”

 

One sows and another reaps. I sent you to reap that for which you did not labour. Others have laboured, and you have entered into their labour.’
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 04/31-38/:”Meanwhile the disciples were urging Jesus, ‘Rabbi, eat something.’But he said to them, ‘I have food to eat that you do not know about.’So the disciples said to one another, ‘Surely no one has brought him something to eat?’Jesus said to them, ‘My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to complete his work. Do you not say, “Four months more, then comes the harvest”? But I tell you, look around you, and see how the fields are ripe for harvesting. The reaper is already receiving wages and is gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying holds true, “One sows and another reaps.” I sent you to reap that for which you did not labour. Others have laboured, and you have entered into their labour.’

But sin, seizing an opportunity in the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. Apart from the law sin lies dead
Letter to the Romans 07/07-13/:”What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, ‘You shall not covet.’ But sin, seizing an opportunity in the commandment, produced in me all kinds of covetousness. Apart from the law sin lies dead. I was once alive apart from the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died, and the very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me. For sin, seizing an opportunity in the commandment, deceived me and through it killed me. So the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good. Did what is good, then, bring death to me? By no means! It was sin, working death in me through what is good, in order that sin might be shown to be sin, and through the commandment might become sinful beyond measure.
