إنجيل القدّيس يوحنّا07/من31حتى37/سَتَطْلُبُونِي فَلا تَجِدُونِي، وحَيْثُ أَكُونُ أَنَا لا تَقْدِرُونَ أَنْتُم أَنْ تَأْتُوا
“آمَنَ بِيَسُوعَ مِنَ الجَمْعِ كَثِيرُون، وكَانُوا يَقُولُون: «عِنْدَمَا يَأْتِي المَسِيح، أَتُرَاهُ يَصْنَعُ آيَاتٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ الَّتِي صَنَعَهَا هذَا؟». وَسَمِعَ الفَرِّيسَيُّونَ مَا كَانَ يَتَهَامَسُ بِهِ الجَمْعُ في شَأْنِ يَسُوع، فَأَرْسَلُوا هُمْ والأَحْبَارُ حَرَسًا لِيَقْبِضُوا عَلَيْه. فَقَالَ لَهُم يَسُوع: «أَنَا مَعَكُم بَعْدُ زَمَنًا قَلِيلاً، ثُمَّ أَمْضِي إِلى مَنْ أَرْسَلَنِي. سَتَطْلُبُونِي فَلا تَجِدُونِي، وحَيْثُ أَكُونُ أَنَا لا تَقْدِرُونَ أَنْتُم أَنْ تَأْتُوا». فَقَالَ اليَهُودُ بَعْضُهُم لِبَعْض: «إِلى أَيْنَ يَنْوِي هذَا أَنْ يَذْهَب، فلا نَجِدَهُ نَحْنُ؟ هَلْ يَنْوِي الذَّهَابَ إِلى اليَهُودِ المُشَتَّتِينَ بِيْنَ اليُونَانيِّينَ، ويُعَلِّمُ اليُونَانيِّين؟ مَا هذِهِ الكَلِمَةُ الَّتِي قَالَهَا: سَتَطْلُبُونِي فَلا تَجِدُونِي، وحَيْثُ أَكُونُ أَنَا لا تَقْدِرُونَ أَنْتُم أَنْ تَأْتُوا؟»”.

رسالة القدّيس بولس إلى أهل رومة11/من25حتى36/كُلَّ شَيءٍ مِنْهُ وَبِهِ وَإِلَيْه. لَهُ المَجْدُ إِلى الدُّهُور
“يا إخوَتِي، لا أُرِيدُ، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَة، أَنْ تَجْهَلُوا هذَا السِّرّ، لِئَلاَّ تَكُونُوا حُكَمَاءَ في عُيُونِ أَنْفُسِكُم، وهوَ أَنَّ التَّصَلُّبَ أَصَابَ قِسْمًا مِنْ بَني إِسْرَائِيل، إِلَى أَنْ يُؤْمِنَ الأُمَمُ بِأَكْمَلِهِم. وهكَذَا يَخْلُصُ جَميعُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيل، كَمَا هُوَ مَكْتُوب: «مِنْ صِهْيُونَ يَأْتي المُنْقِذ، ويَرُدُّ الكُفْرَ عَنْ يَعْقُوب؛ وهذَا هُوَ عَهْدِي مَعَهُم، حِينَ أُزِيلُ خَطَايَاهُم». فَهُم مِنْ جِهَةِ الإِنْجِيلِ أَعْدَاءٌ مِنْ أَجْلِكُم، أَمَّا مِنْ جِهَةِ ٱخْتِيَارِ الله، فَهُم أَحِبَّاءُ مِنْ أَجْلِ الآبَاء؛ لأَنَّ اللهَ لا يَتَرَاجَعُ أَبَدًا عَنْ مَوَاهِبِهِ ودَعْوَتِهِ. فكَمَا عَصَيْتُمُ اللهَ أَنْتُم في مَا مَضَى، وَرُحِمْتُمُ الآنَ مِنْ جَرَّاءِ عُصْيَانِهِم، كَذلِكَ هُمُ الآنَ عَصَوا اللهَ مِنْ أَجْلِ رَحْمَتِكُم، لِكَي يُرْحَمُوا الآنَ هُم أَيْضًا؛ لأَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ حَبَسَ جَمِيعَ النَّاسِ في العُصْيَان، لِكَي يَرْحَمَ الجَميع. فَيَا لَعُمْقِ غِنَى اللهِ وَحِكْمَتِهِ ومَعْرِفَتِهِ! مَا أَبْعَدَ أَحْكَامَهُ عَنِ الإِدْرَاك، وطُرُقَهُ عَنِ الٱسْتِقصَاء! فَمَنْ عَرَفَ فِكْرَ الرَّبّ؟ أَو مَنْ صَارَ لَهُ مُشِيرًا؟ أَو مَنْ أَقْرَضَهُ شَيْئًا فَيَرُدَّهُ اللهُ إِلَيْه؟ لأَنَّ كُلَّ شَيءٍ مِنْهُ وَبِهِ وَإِلَيْه. لَهُ المَجْدُ إِلى الدُّهُور. آمين”.

You will search for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 07/31-36: “Many in the crowd believed in him and were saying, ‘When the Messiah comes, will he do more signs than this man has done?’The Pharisees heard the crowd muttering such things about him, and the chief priests and Pharisees sent temple police to arrest him. Jesus then said, ‘I will be with you a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me. You will search for me, but you will not find me; and where I am, you cannot come.’The Jews said to one another, ‘Where does this man intend to go that we will not find him? Does he intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks? What does he mean by saying, “You will search for me and you will not find me” and, “Where I am, you cannot come”?’”

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever. Amen
Letter to the Romans 11/25-36: “So that you may not claim to be wiser than you are, brothers and sisters, I want you to understand this mystery: a hardening has come upon part of Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved; as it is written, ‘Out of Zion will come the Deliverer; he will banish ungodliness from Jacob.’‘And this is my covenant with them, when I take away their sins.’As regards the gospel they are enemies of God for your sake; but as regards election they are beloved, for the sake of their ancestors; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Just as you were once disobedient to God but have now received mercy because of their disobedience, so they have now been disobedient in order that, by the mercy shown to you, they too may now receive mercy. For God has imprisoned all in disobedience so that he may be merciful to all. O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgements and how inscrutable his ways! ‘For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counsellor?’ ‘Or who has given a gift to him, to receive a gift in return?’For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever. Amen.”
