Kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you/مُلُوكَ الأُمَمِ يَسُودُونَهُم، وَالمُتَسَلِّطُونَ عَلَيْهِم يُدْعَونَ مُحْسِنِين. أَمَّا أَنْتُم فَلَسْتُم هكذَا

إِنَّ مُلُوكَ الأُمَمِ يَسُودُونَهُم، وَالمُتَسَلِّطُونَ عَلَيْهِم يُدْعَونَ مُحْسِنِين. أَمَّا أَنْتُم فَلَسْتُم هكذَا.
إنجيل القدّيس لوقا22/من24حتى30/ “قَامَ  بَيْنَ الرُّسُلِ جِدَال: «مَنْ مِنْهُم يُعَدُّ أَعْظَمَهُم؟». فقَالَ لَهُم يَسُوع: «إِنَّ مُلُوكَ الأُمَمِ يَسُودُونَهُم، وَالمُتَسَلِّطُونَ عَلَيْهِم يُدْعَونَ مُحْسِنِين. أَمَّا أَنْتُم فَلَسْتُم هكذَا. بَلْ لِيَكُنِ الأَعْظَمُ فِيكُم كَالأَصْغَر، وَالرَّئِيسُ كَالخَادِم. فَمَنْ هُوَ أَعْظَم؟ أَهُوَ المُتَّكِئُ أَمِ الخَادِم؟ أَلَيْسَ المُتَّكِئ؟ ولكِنِّي أَنَا في وَسَطِكُم كَالخَادِم! وَأَنْتُمُ الَّذينَ ثَبَتُّم مَعِي في تَجَارِبي، فَإِنِّي أُعِدُّ لَكُمُ المَلَكُوتَ كَمَا أَعَدَّهُ لي أَبِي، لِتَأْكُلُوا وَتَشْرَبُوا عَلَى مَائِدَتي، في مَلَكُوتِي. وسَتَجْلِسُونَ عَلَى عُرُوش، لِتَدِينُوا أَسْبَاطَ إِسْرَائِيلَ الٱثْنَي عَشَر”.

سَيَأْتِي وَقْتٌ لا يَحْتَمِلُ فِيهِ النَّاسُ التَّعْلِيمَ الصَّحِيح، بَلْ يُكَدِّسُونَ لأَنْفُسِهِمِ المُعَلِّمِين، وَفْقَ شَهَواتِهِم، وٱهْتِيَاجِ سَمْعِهِم
رسالة القدّيس بولس الثانية إلى طيموتاوس04/من01حتى08/ “يا إخوَتي، أُنَاشِدُكَ في حَضْرَةِ اللهِ والمَسِيحِ يَسُوع، الَّذي سَيَدِينُ الأَحْيَاءَ والأَمْوَات، بِحَقِّ ظُهُورِهِ ومَلَكُوتِهِ: بَشِّرْ بِالكَلِمَة، ودَاوِمْ على ذلِكَ في وَقْتِهِ وفي غَيرِ وَقْتِهِ، وَبِّخْ وأَنِّبْ وعِظْ، بِكُلِّ أَنَاةٍ وتَعْلِيم، لأَنَّهُ سَيَأْتِي وَقْتٌ لا يَحْتَمِلُ فِيهِ النَّاسُ التَّعْلِيمَ الصَّحِيح، بَلْ يُكَدِّسُونَ لأَنْفُسِهِمِ المُعَلِّمِين، وَفْقَ شَهَواتِهِم، وٱهْتِيَاجِ سَمْعِهِم، فَيَصْرِفُونَ سَمْعَهُم عنِ الحَقّ، ويَمِيلُونَ إِلى الخُرَافَات. أَمَّا أَنْتَ، فَكُنْ مُتَيَقِّظًا في كُلِّ شَيء، وٱحْتَمِلِ ٱلمَشَقَّة، وَٱعْمَلْ عَمَلَ المُبَشِّر، وتَمِّمْ خِدْمَتَكَ على أَكْمَلِ مَا تَكُون. فَهَاءَنَذَا أُراقُ سَكِيبًا، وقَدْ حَضَرَ وَقْتُ رَحِيلِي. وقَد جَاهَدْتُ الجِهَادَ الحَسَن، وتَمَّمْتُ سَعْيِي، وحَفِظْتُ إِيْمَاني، والآنَ فَإِنَّهُ مَحْفُوظٌ لي إِكْلِيلُ البِرّ، الَّذي سَيُجَازِينِي بِهِ في ذلِكَ اليَومِ الرَّبُّ الدَّيَانُ العَادِل، لا أَنَا وَحْدي، بَلْ أَيْضًا جَمِيعَ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ ظُهُورَهُ”.

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 22/24-30: “A dispute also arose among them as to which one of them was to be regarded as the greatest. But he said to them, ‘The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you; rather the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like one who serves. For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one at the table? But I am among you as one who serves. ‘You are those who have stood by me in my trials; and I confer on you, just as my Father has conferred on me, a kingdom, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

The time is coming when people will not put up with sound doctrine, but having itching ears, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires
Second Letter to Timothy 04/01-08: “In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I solemnly urge you: proclaim the message; be persistent whether the time is favourable or unfavourable; convince, rebuke, and encourage, with the utmost patience in teaching. For the time is coming when people will not put up with sound doctrine, but having itching ears, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander away to myths. As for you, always be sober, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, carry out your ministry fully. As for me, I am already being poured out as a libation, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
